| Our Company Jay-Em Aerospace incorporated in 1961 as a general machine shop, supporting local aircraft wheel manufacturers. The company soon purchased a proprietary wheel and brake product line from the General Tire Company in Akron, Ohio. This fueled Jay-Em's growth and the company quickly became well known in the military wheel and brake markets. Machining services expanded to support automotive, aircraft, oil and gas drilling equipment, tire testing machines, hydraulic compression molding presses, calendars and mills for the rubber and plastic industries, and paper conversion equipment. In 1974, Michael E. Bell, Sr. became the president for Jay-Em and over the years grew the company to over $15 Million in sales. Today, Mr. Bell leads the company as Chief Executive Officer and continues to guide through his vision for the future growth and success of the company. Investment continued and Jay-Em added to their machining capability to produce Aston Martin, Ferrari and custom motorcycle wheels and parts, in quantities from 10 to 10,000. Recent improvements to the quality management system has resulted in the company receiving AS9100C certification, paving the way for further growth into the commercial aerospace component manufacturing arena. |
